Chateau Ormes de Pez is located around the hamlet of Pez. It is divided into two main plots: one in the centre of the commune of Saint-Estephe, and the other in the north, on a clayey and gravelly soil.
Chateau Ormes de Pez dates back to the 18th. It was name after a type of old elm trees which do no longer exist. Jean-Charles Cazes purchased the property in 1936 and it is now run Jean-Michel Cazes, who also owns Chateau Lynch-Bages.
