Clos des Templiers is a 1.5-hectare estate located in Lalande de Pomerol and owned by the Delacour family since 2004. The vineyard obtained its name from the Order of Temples and Templars as it served as a stop-off point for them during the Middle Ages.
The family also owns Chateau De La Cour, a 10-hectare estate located in Saint-Emilion, on the right bank of the river. It was called Chateau la Rouchonne until 1995 when the Delacour family acquired it. The name of the chateau and the coat of arms on the label are in memories of their ancestor, the Chevalier De la Cour, who served King Charles IX.
