Foradori Teroldego

Availability: In stock

The Campo Rotaliano is a well-demarcated geographical area, a sort of recess of the Adige Valley tucked between the mountains. Its history and origin are closely tied to the Noce River, which, over the centuries, has deposited huge quantities of limestone, granite and porphyry debris. Within this small plain, depending on the soil composition, various micro zones can be distinguished, bearing various names given by the local vintners. The wines from the vineyards with a predominantly sandy soil are blended to give our “Foradori” wine.

More information:

It is difficult to describe Elsabetta Foradori without conveying her determination, passion and dedication. Just after graduating from oenological school in 1984 she took over the family estate, dedicating all her efforts to restoring the Teroldego grape to its former glory.

The vineyards are located on the Campo Rotaliano, an alluvial plane nestled in the Dolomite mountains: the Teroldego planted on sandy, pebbly planes and the white varieties Manzoni Bianco & Nosiola on the marly, calcareous clays of the hills.

She converted the estate to biodynamic farming in 2002, and since then every gesture and every decision in the vineyard and in the cellar are dictated by nature's rhythms and cycles.
