The Blender's Dog, is a liquid representation of the work of Jameson Master Blender, Billy Leighton. Although, Leighton played a major role in the creation of the other two whiskeys in the series. This was the whiskey he assembled to represent the art of blending.

With the use of both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks this whiskey has a powerful nose, sweet, with hints of vanilla and butterscotch. The palate delivers toasted oak, caramalised sugar and tonnes of spice. The finish is long and full of flavour.

Jameson Blender's Dog Irish Whiskey. Jameson's Master Blender, Billy Leighton's contribution to The Whiskey Makers Series.

This whiskey is a tribute to work the work of Jameson's Master Blender, Billy Leighton. True to the traditional Jameson form, it is a blend of pot still and grain whiskeys aged in a variety of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

In order to represent the masterful blending effectively, there are said to be three different distillate styles used, which have been matured to 4 different ages. Providing a smooth, well-rounded and balanced whiskey.

The significance of 'The Blender's Dog' is that, a dog is a small cup used to draw samples from the cask.
