- Doña Blanca
Vineyard: The Godello comes from small plots located in Carracedo, Valtuille and Villafranca del Bierzo. The average age of the vineyards is 20 years. The Doña Blanca comes from old vines collected at Espanillo, Carracedo and Valtuille.
Soil: Due to the different areas of vineyard soil type is extremely diverse, calcareous-clay at Valtuille and Villafranca, stony in Carracedo and slate in Espanillo.
Winemaking: After a manual harvest in boxes, the grapes are selected and passed through a pneumatic press. The juice is fermented at low temperature and then aged on the fine lees for 5 months with weekly batonnage. The bottling is done with a slight clarification and filtration.
