Run by the fourth generation of the Pusole family, this organic estate on Sardinia’s eastern coast is devoted to producing cannonau (grenache) that highlights the diversity of the terroir. The land is dry-farmed and there is no use of chemical pesticides or fertilisers. Weed control is of the four-legged, woolly variety, courtesy of flocks of sheep.
Ruby red and vibrant. The nose features a beautiful olfactory profile marked by geranium floral notes that chase hints of light red fruit, currants and cherries. In the background, hints of hibiscus and pink pepper. The palate is dry, fresh, and wonderfully fulfilling. It stands out for elegance and balance, a taste characterized by a glowing acidity wtih a great finish and persistence.
