The single varietal Tsolikouri originates from the alluvial soils of the Baghdadti hills in Georgia. The winery ferments the pressed grapes in qvevri. The resultant wine is then aged in the same vessel for 9 months before bottling. The wine is made with no skin contact.
On the nose, it shows delicate aromas of citrus fruits, grass, beeswax and honeysuckle. It is fresh and slightly bitter on the palate, with a hint of tea leaves and a warm finish.
