This wine, matured in barrels, shows a beautiful dark ruby red colour and reveals an expressive nose with scents of blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by a perfectly incorporated grilled, toasted hint. After a first taste full of fruit, its charm works on ample, fleshy body with robust, finely balanced structure, enabling a persistent finish.
Very easy to pair, this wine will be a marvellous accompaniment to cooked cold meats, leg of lamb, duck breast, rib-steak or hard cheeses.
2 stars (2016 vintage), La Guide Hachette 2019 "... an estate to follow closely!"
This estate achieved organic certification from the 2019 vintage (hence the white wine is fully certified) and is still in conversion to biodynamics.
