Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc

A potent medley of honeydew and rock melon with notes of blackcurrant intermingled with layers of delicate citrus blossom and a smoky, dill-like complexity. A classic Marlborough vintage showing an exotic salsa-like combination of succulent tropical fruit flavours and that hallmark herbal infusion, finishing with a zesty citrus tang.

"Seductive bouquet of wild flowers and minerals, a fine leesy complexity and fresh aromas and flavours of citrus, peach tea and sweet hay. Crisp, refreshing, fruity and dry with fine texture. Just enough concentration of flavour to contrast the fresh herb notes and salivating acidity. Well made and long." 95 points (2020 vintage), Decanter

"This vintage delivers appealing aromas of stone fruit, honeysuckle and wet stone, with only the slightest vegetal tone. There's a lovely play between the creamy texture and crunchy acidity on the palate, highlighting flavors of orchard fruit, salt and snow pea. It finishes long, with stony minerality." (2018 vintage) Editor's Choice, 92 points, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, January 2019
