Quinta do Pinto
Situated at Merceana, in the heart of the Lisbon Wine Region (formerly known as Estremadura), this family estate extends over 250 acres. The climate is moderate maritime, with Mediterranean characteristics. The soils are of clay-limestone, originating from the Jurassic period, with a clay loam texture. All fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts. The vines are cultivated under certified Integrated Production methods: following a minimal intervention and a sustainable viticulture approach with low yields. In the cellar, natural fermentation is in cement tanks using only indigenous yeast.
