"..a broad, ripe, flavorful wine that should provide plenty of short term pleasure. Plum and chocolate nuances mark the nose and palate of this medium to full-bodied wine, while the tannins are plush and soft, leaving a creamy impression on the palate. Drink it over the next 3-4 years." 90 points (2019), Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Silver Medal, Decanter World Wine Awards - "Violet, liquorice and cassis nose. Very full bodied, lush and juicy with fine, supporting tannins and a firm, holistic finish." (2017 vintage) 90 points
"A dark crimson blend of Grenache and Mourvedre with a complex nose; aromas of blackberries, baking spice, toasty oak, and licorice carry through to the palate. This is a force to be reckoned with. A dense wine with excellent length, the tannins are present but well-rounded." 91-93 points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
"A great family estate in Gigondas, Domaine Brusset was created by Andre Brusset in 1947. Today, it covers over 70 hectares (in Gigondas, Cairanne, Rasteau and Côtes du Rhône) and is run by Daniel Brusset, with help from his grandson, Laurent. This estate uses a relatively high percentage of new oak, and they definitely show modern characters in their youth, yet they age beautifully and in this reviewer's opinion, never lose their Southern Rhône charm or soul." -Jeb Dunnuck on Domaine Brusset, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, December 2016
