Previously known as 'Signature' Riesling, this wine is light yellow and brilliant, the nose is pure and presents aromas of lemon and of cardamom. On the palate, it is a typical Riesling with lemony notes of citrus fruits and also some minerality. This wine is dry and the finish is raised by a fine acidity.

René Muré Calcaires Jaunes Riesling

René Muré and his children Véronique and Thomas represent the 11th and 12th generations of winegrowers. The Muré family are winegrowers in the region of Rouffach since 1648.

Since 1999, the 28 hectares of the estate have been farmed organically with both biodynamic (Demeter) and organic (Ecocert) certification, demonstrating that no chemical or synthetic products are used. The extra care entailed in applying biodynamic practices throughout the vineyards (horn manure, horn silica, horsetail, compost etc.) contributes to healthy, well aerated soils, as well as to increased flora and fauna and the general well-being of the vines.
