This whisky, coming from Bruichladdich's peated 'Port Charlotte' range, is made up of barley harvested from 6 farms and distilled all in the year 2008.The nose, palate and finish of this whisky all have peat, cirtrus, green fruit, and barley notes, harmoniously intertwined. This whisky is perfectly balanced at 50% abv and needs no water, each element from the production of this whisky is evident on the palate. The fruitful notes from the stills, the sweet peat, and toasted oak from the casks.A great whisky for any peated whisky lover.
