Château Angludet 2019 Margaux Double Magnum

Where the notion of balance is concerned, Chateau Angludet stands out. The harmony between its various components and aromatic intensity, volume, mouthfeel and length creates real synergy. This wine is just right thanks to perfectly controlled extraction during fermentation. This Goldilocks balance is illustrated in the flavour of its components and will make the wine ready for drinking while rather young, but also gives it interesting cellaring potential thanks to its wonderfully dense structure.

The promisingly sombre ruby hue of this wine is as intense as it is distinguished and elegant. The bouquet, with its black fruit aromas, is subtly highlighted by spices and toasty, vanilla notes. The palate is charming and generous, ample and elegant, displaying crunchy fruit and underpinned by superb, perfectly smooth tannins that offer remarkable length. Still in its youth, it will attain its full expression after several years of ageing in the bottle.
