Undeniably Chateau Musar is a very individually flavoured wine. Good depth of colour. On the nose it is very true to form, showing deliciously sweet fruit nuanced with cloves, with a dried and spicy character. Typical Musar on the palate although with lots of youthful exuberance, a richly imbued structure. It is rather reserved in some respects, but any awkward elements of adolescence will fade with time giving way to what will be fantastic and unforgettable wine.
"A challenging and unusual vintage in Lebanon has given this Musar additional Bordeaux style, with mulberries, cherry, spice and rounded tannins on the palate." 94 points, Andy Howard MW, Decanter Magazine
