4.7% abv, cold-conditioned Lager
Each batch of Hopburgh Helles undergoes a minimum of 6 weeks cold conditioning, producing a softer natural carbonation, a smoother mouthfeel and a white fluffy head. To preserve its natural flavour, aroma and condition, unlike imported German lager, it remains unpasteurised and unfined.
Made with Irish lager malt and hops from Germany and North America. It is brewed and bottled locally, by hand, on Burgh Quay.
About the Brewery:
Established in Dublin in 2006.
We brew on a 10BBL (16.4HL) brewhouse with three fermenters (one open), three conditioning tanks and one bright beer tank. Originally producing draught and cask beer exclusively, in December 2020 we embarked on our first bottling venture; batch #458 Hopburgh Helles.
