Veneto is a varied and productive Italian wine region. This ribbon of land is home to the cities of Verona, Vicenza, Padova, Treviso, and, of course, Venice. The mountainous landscape slowly succumbs to the Adriatic sea making this region home to numerous combinations of micro climates, indigenous grapes and wine traditions.
From hearty reds to fragrant sparklers, Veneto produces some of Italy’s best-loved wines and is most notably home to the rich, vibrant, full-bodied Amarone and Ripasso as well as the immensely popular Prosecco.
