Finca Viñoa Ribeiro Tinto

A magnificent example of Ribeiro tinto. A blend of local varieties Caíño Longo, Sousón and Brancelão. Intense cherry red colour with generous aromas of bramble berries, floral hints (violet, poppy), complemented by cedar notes, pleasant spice and balsamic characteristics. The attack is agile and fresh with juicy berries, intense balsamic, wild herbs, light nutmeg and vanilla flavours. Polished tannins lend this wine a structured and elegant texture. Every sip leaves you wanting more.

Production of this wine is very limited and reflects the character of the area in a fresh and aromatic wine that perfectly accompanies both fish and meat.

"Featuring equal parts Brancellao, Caiño and Souson, this is relatively light-bodied and fresh with fine-textured tannins, yet has a rich warmth to its complex, somewhat inky bouquet of baked forest fruit pie and fragrant nutmeg. Think rustic stews, salami or meaty fish." Aoife Carrigy, Irish Independent, September 2021
