Pale yellow in colour with straw tones. On the nose, its citric notes of grapefruit and lemon pip are surrounded by jasmine white flowers. Gradually, the sweet fruit aroma of apricot appears against a nutty background with hints of flinty minerality that give the sensation of volume and complexity in a wine predominated by its initial freshness.
The flow on the palate combines the great varietal structure with an acidity that maintains its lively character and extends the citric and floral perception, around which the strength of the Grenache Blanc unfolds. Generous and refined, it maintains an elegant, powerful balance, echoing the Terra Alta region.
"One of several wineries belonging to the Ramon Roqueta family, this one founded in 2007 in the pretty town of Batea. The wine is named after the almond trees so typical of the region. Fresh and floral, fermented in stainless steel and concrete eggs, with 10% in oak." (2017 vintage) 90 points, Decanter Magazine
