Made from 40-45 year old Nebbiolo vines the post fermentation ageing process takes place in barriques and 50hl large oak barrels before a further ageing in bottle. The wine shows an amazingly complex array of aromatics ranging from red and black fruit to savoury leather – smoky tobacco to spicy notes. This is Nebbiolo showing its powerful personality in a full bodied, complex and age worthy wine. Best after a decant.
