Stefano Menti runs this small estate of 7.5 hectares on the volcanic hills of Gambellara, farmed biodynamically since 2010. In 2012, Stefano decided to leave the DOC and declassify his wines as he felt the regulations left no space for small producers like him who wanted to find their own expression of garganega. Spontaneous fermentation and long lees ageing results in complex and deeply mineral wines.
Made with 100% organically grown Garganega grapes, this is a real terroir wine. A fizzy and unfiltered natural wine that is cheerfully gluggable and at just 10% alcohol, you can get away with it.
