La Grande Année Rosé is a powerful champagne. It is showing brilliantly; the depth and concentration of flavour are so impressive! Black forrest fruit and redcurrants, accompanied by piercing aromas of zesty citrus fruit. Freshness and creamy texture are lifted by a fresh, racy finish.

La Grande Année Rosé is an alternative expression of La Grande Année, transformed by the addition, at blending, of the unique red wine from La Côte aux Enfants. The emblematic single plot of the House, located in Aÿ, produces still red wine only when the grapes reach perfect ripeness.

After vinification in small aged oak barrels and a prolonged ageing on its lees, even today every bottle of La Grande Année Rosé is riddled and disgorged by hand. This reflects all the expertise of the House, able to create a cuvée whose quality is matched only by its rarity.

Every wine in Mitchell & Son has been carefully selected, researched and taste tested by our team, so we stand behind each selection on our retail list. If you are not happy with a wine, a delivery, or any aspect of our service, please contact us and we will be only too happy to help you in any way we can.
