Dalmore 12 year old

Dalmore 12 year old Single malt, is the signature release from The Dalmore Distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. This whisky is matured for 9 years in ex-bourbon casks, then half is re-casked in ex-oloroso sherry casks for the final 3 years. This makes for a flavour-full whisky which is always a good value for money option.The influence from the sherry casks are pronounced throughout, with notes of plum and spice, rich tropical fruits such as marzipan on the nose. The palate is covered in rich fruit and spice, christmas cake and cinnamon.A great dram.
