Château Argadens Rouge

Produced by integrated farming methods that respect the local environment and biodiversity, this is a rich and distinguished wine. A harmonious marriage of black berry fruit and tannin accompanied by elegant oak. Serve as an aperitif with friends or with a nice cut of grilled red meat.

"In St-André du Bois south east of Bordeaux overlooking the Garonne, owned by the Sichel family since 2002. 63% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc. Bright deep crimson. Quite intense nose and impressive ripeness. Round with lots of fruit and pleasure but with the dry (not drying) finish that is typical of Bordeaux. Evidence of some good quality old oak on sweet fruit. Proper wine with some future." (2015 vintage) Jancis Robinson, 10 November 2018
