Château Trebiac 2018 Graves

There can be no doubt that this wine is the product of the splendid Graves terroir. Its colour is a beautiful deep red and its bouquet evocative of red berry fruit followed by dark chocolate, then mild spices. Rounded and mellow, delicately balanced between velvety flavours and fruit, the palate is chewy with a pleasingly aromatic finish and fine length. A mouth filling wine with fine, elegant tannins and typical Graves flavours (hazelnut and flint), ready for drinking right away and an opportunity for interesting matches with delicate dishes.

"Dry but also fruity, this wine that will soon be delicious comes from vineyards once owned by Franciscan nuns and maintained by the de Butler family. When the balance kicks in, the acidity and the bright spicy character will go well with the black-currant fruits. Drink this wine from 2022." 90 points, Wine Enthusiast
