Barbuntin Albariño

Wonderfully aromatic Albariño with a pronounced minerality and hint of salinity owing to the region's proximity to the Atlantic ocean. Green apple aromas and citrus flavours give this wine a crisp acidity that pairs perfectly with seafood. Though pale in colour it is a wine of great presence and considerable density and precision. A remarkable demonstration of terroir!

"Aromatics bound from the glass with nuances of pear, apricots, orange blossom and lemon curd. This is perfectly balanced, its youthful vibrancy rounded by four months of lees ageing for a delightful creamy texture with expressively ripe fruit and typical saline finish. A top-notch expression that drinks well on its own but sings with seafood." 92 points, Cathal McBride, Sunday Business Post, 30 July 2023
