An exceptional wine. On the light side of full-bodied, the emphasis is on subtle perfume, delicate richness and real depth of flavour.
Bright straw in colour, it exhibits a cooling freshness with a citrus flavour on the nose and palate.Complex and fresh with layers of aromatic herbs and mint and pleasant scented hints of yellow flowers. Clean attack on the palate with a full texture yet refreshing, balanced and well-structured.
While this winery is not certified organic, they never use herbicides or systemic fungicides.

"Brothers José and Javier González decided to resurrect vines in Ribeiro’s Avia Valley and bought this 10ha farm in 2003. Vines are planted on terraced plots of granite and schist between 150m and 325m, producing a wine with tons of personality. An interesting blend of Treixadura, Godello, Albariño and Loureiro, it kicks off with aromas of citrus, melon, white stone fruit and pear. The complex palate has more ripe fruit, with texture and weight, but balanced by zesty, juicy acidity that lasts through to the long finish."93 points (2018 vintage), Decanter
"Great balance, intertwining approachability and complexity. Long and complex with citrus and white fruits with some herbal notes." 95/100, Pedro Ballesteros Torres MW, Decanter Magazine, March 2018.
"Tasted blind. Very pure and bright with a lovely mineral expression, peachy character and herbal lift. The palate is fruit-driven, combining a fluid texture with lemony acidity and plenty of fruit concentration. Quite crunchy and vibrant. This wine is all about balance in search of precision, and at a tremendously reasonable price." 17/20, Ferran Centeilles on JancisRobinson.com
