Connemara Peated Irish Single Malt is a non-age statement single malt that has become the defining peated whiskey in Ireland. It balances it's peated tones with citrus fruits and vanilla sweetness. A truly great Irish whiskey.

Nose: Light and fruity; distinct smoky and peaty.

Taste: Silky smooth and honey sweet start, malt and fruits giving way to the intensive full- bodied peat.

Finish: Golden honey notes followed by a peat explosion spreading across the mouth and palate.

Old mash tuns and fermenters are still in their original positions and the new Kilbeggan malt spirit flows from ancient pot stills – one of which is over 186 years old. Kilbeggan is the quintessential Irish whiskey distillery, with whitewashed walls, weathered slate roof, brick chimney stack, creaking timber water wheel and even regular ghost sightings.
