Nose: Clean fresh, hints of citrus lemon honey and barley.

Taste: Traditional Irish taste. Smooth silky sweet honey comes through with spicy malt undertone.

Finish: Satisfying malty finish.

Old mash tuns and fermenters are still in their original positions and the new Kilbeggan malt spirit flows from ancient pot stills – one of which is over 186 years old. Kilbeggan is the quintessential Irish whiskey distillery, with whitewashed walls, weathered slate roof, brick chimney stack, creaking timber water wheel and even regular ghost sightings.
