Tyrconnell Irish Single Malt is a double-distilled Single Malt from the Cooley Distillery in Co. Louth. The brand was originally founded by Andrew A.Watt & Co in the 1900's, named after a horse which came in at 100-1. The brand was then rejuvenated by John Teeling during his days in The Cooley Distillery.

Full and fruity aroma with a citrus kick and a touch of spice. Well structured with honey notes hanging from the nose. A tang of oranges and lemons and a strong malt presence that balances well with the oily sweetness. A long finish with the malt becoming more dominant to the end without the soft fruits and honey, which helped make up the middle.

The Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Old mash tuns and fermenters are still in their original positions and the new Kilbeggan malt spirit flows from ancient pot stills – one of which is over 186 years old. Kilbeggan is the quintessential Irish whiskey distillery, with whitewashed walls, weathered slate roof, brick chimney stack, creaking timber water wheel and even regular ghost sightings.
