Domaine Moingeon crafts a beautifully poised expression of Chassagne-Montrachet with this superb 2023 Premier Cru from Les Vergers, one of the village’s most characterful sites. The vineyard sits at the northern end of Chassagne, on limestone-rich soils that naturally emphasise finesse, lifted aromatics and a crystalline mineral line. The warm, balanced 2023 vintage has brought an effortless harmony to the wine: ripe orchard fruits and delicate citrus weave through subtle hints of white flowers, almond and crushed stone, all wrapped in a fine, silken texture.

Though specific vine parcels have been in the family for more than 150 years, Domaine Moingeon really began to flourish when André Moingeon took it over in 1950s. André welcomed his son Michel to the team in 1978, and more recently, his grandson Florent has joined the team. Together, they've expanded the domaine to cover 10 hectares of vines in the Saint Aubin region. The domaine's approach is contemporary and approachable, offering wines that are both modern and easy to enjoy.
