Fresh and fruity Pinot Noir with aromas of fresh raspberry, strawberry, and hints of dried herbs. Elegant, smooth, ripe with a round textrure, flavours of red berries and a medium body, showcasing the Burgundian influence nicely.

Since developing a passion and self-taught knowledge, Fritz Waßmer has established himself among the top winemakers in Baden with his internationally acclaimed Pinot Noir. His family has been involved in viticulutre and agriculture for generations in the village of Schlatt and this is where he was first introduced to work in the vineyards. He hasn’t looked back since. Even though it would take a few years before Fritz Waßmer would produce his own wine, the cornerstone for his great love was laid at a young age.

Since founding the winery in 1998, Fritz Waßmer has pursued his own wine style: independent, finesse-rich and profound wines.

He is passionate about Pinot Noir and his special affinity to Burgundy, the cradle of Pinot Noir, is reflected in his daily work as a winemaker.
