Previously known as La Reserve d'Angludet, this wine has a sustained garnet colour. The nose is open, the oak already well integrated and at this stage the fruit of the Petit Verdot predominates. The palate is ample and perfectly balanced, with a deeply layered structure and generous extract. Like the chateau's first wine, the ideal balance of this wine, far from being monotonous, brings out every detail, creating relief and complexity that only the greatest terroirs can provide.

Owned by the Sichel family since 1961, Château Angludet is situated at the heart of the prestigious appellation of Margaux and is surrounded by Cru Classé properties. It is the responsibility of Benjamin Sichel, whose constant quest for quality is reflected in his policy of drastically limiting the yield of each vine planted and finding the natural balance of the entire vineyard to get the best expression of this exceptional terroir in every glass. Angludet’s wines enjoy a worldwide reputation for their elegance, aromatic finesse and their exceptional ageing potential.

Bordeaux Blend

A red Bordeaux blend is primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, with smaller portions of Malbec and Petit Verdot (and very occasionally, Carménère). A white Bordeaux blend is primarily made of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, with a splash of Muscadelle in the mix (not the same grape as Moscato).
