Obtained from selected Negroamaro grapes, aged in French oak barrels, ruby red with violet tones, intense nose of ripe red berry fruits with a hint of vanilla and toasted notes. It is a dry, warm and velvety red.

Since the mid-20th century, Cantina Sampietrana has produced classic wines of structure and elegance using native Puglian varieties. The winery is a cooperative covering 190 hectares around the picturesque town of San Pietro Vernotico, just a few kilometres from the Adriatic coast. Using the ancient system of vine training known as albarello Pugliese, the vines are protected from strong coastal winds and drought, allowing Sampietrana to achieve a balance between ripeness and structure in these characteristcally southern Italian wines.
