Bright red robe with deep purple hues. Notes of prunes and kirsch cherries on the nose continue on the palate. Elegant and ample with a long and aromatic finish. Excellent with grilled meats, charcuterie. Also good with red meats, fish and as an all-purpose summer picnic wine.

Jacques Sipp and his wife Laura run this domaine bequeathed through 9 generations since 1698. The vineyards cover approximately 22 hectares located within 4km of the winery in Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé and Bergheim. The terroirs are varied but essentially calcareous clay. All harvesting is by hand.

After years of certified sustainable farming and integrated pest management, the Sipps converted the entire domaine to certified organic farming and have been certified since 2013.
