Chateau de Lamarque 1983

Dark brick red colour. Very lovely and mature nose showing mint, rosemary, spices and pine. The palate is mature with smooth tannins and warm fruitiness. Nice long and smooth finish. This wine is at its peak and should be enjoyed now. It will benefit from 1-2 hours decanting to fully open up. An excellent pairing with venison flank in red wine sauce.
