Château La Bedouce is a former eighteenth-century monastery that lodged pilgrims travelling the Saint James of Compostela way. Alain Favretto’s grandparents bought the property in the 1930s and it was in 1982 that Alain Favretto harvested his first grapes. Assisted today by his two daughters, he is perpetuating this family inheritance with the same passion as ever. His great pride is the organic farming certificate he obtained in 2010. Working with meticulous care at all times, he manages this magnificent vineyard with deep respect for the environment in line with the strict rules of organic farming.
Rich colour with deep purple reflections. The bouquet is generous with notes of both ripe red stone fruits (cherry, plum) and a touch of spice. The palate is rich, supple and silky with fleshy tannins raised by beautiful freshness. A harmonious wine which will find many good pairings.
