Deep bright red colour with a magenta hue. Aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants, raspberries and cherries, and the floral scent of violets abound on its complex nose, with hints of spices and minerals. In the mouth, it is fruity and fresh, with a succulent and muscular structure, with velvety tannins. Its finish is fine and delicate, yet very long.

Colome Estate Malbec
"Rippling with firm, concentrated, sweet/sour blackcurrant fruits, finishing with some firm dry tannins. Superb wine. Drink it with red meat, grilled or roast would do very nicely. " - John Wilson, Wilson on Wine 2016Wine of the Year - Arguably the highest vineyard in the world produces a ripe yet muscular Malbec with a dry finish - John Wilson, The Irish Times , 2nd November 2013
