A carefully blended selection of Irish pot still whiskies all triple distilled from cereals grown on the Curraghmore Estate, and then matured separately in a virgin French oak half barrel, an Oloroso Sherry and an ex-bourbon barrel. This is carefully blended to maximise the flavours and deliver a truly complex, flavoursome and unique whiskey.
Three casks filled with Curraghmore single estate pot still Irish whiskey, selected and married together. 470 Litres from an European Oak Oloroso four year old sherry cask. 97 Litres from a four year old French Virgin Oak cask. 199 Litres from a 5 year old Ex-Bourbon cask.
Aromas of vanilla and honey with a twist of lemon, plums, raisins, rich oak and sherry notes, intermingled with hints cinnamon and clove spice as well as tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango and banana. Layers of flavours from rich oak and sweet malt to boiled sweets, fruit cocktail and chocolate are all very elegantly integrated with a touch of cloves and liquorice spice. The finish has a long lasting sweetness with a pleasing velvety texture.
