Domaine de la Dourbie 'Oscar' Blanc IGP Pays d'Herault

The history of Domaine de la Dourbie traces back to 1781. It takes its name from the ‘La Dourbie’ River, a small river running through the vineyard that flows into the Hérault river. Since 2009, the winery has been a fully organic farm. The vineyard covers an area of 32 hectares, 20 hectares surrounding the estate and 12 hectares located in an isolated valley Mala Coste. It is at 200m above the sea level and surrounded by garrigue, which creates an important and unique microclimate. Grapes are hand-harvested and the winemakers use traditional methods for vinification. The combination of manual harvesting, organic cultivation, and traditional methods produces authentic and unique wines.
