Great white wine from Burgundy located in the commune of Pernand - Vergelesses. The grape variety is Chardonnay, these are new plantations, at the beginning of the 2000s, on new land with good South-West exposure but difficult to work due to the steep slope.
The name "Combottes" is a diminutive of combe, which alludes to the hilly character of this plot.
The Pernand-Vergelesses “Les Combottes” catches the eye with a beautiful color with golden nuances, it is fresh, lively and elegant. It gives off a fine nose of fresh fruit, notes of spices as well as traces of honey and gunflint when it matures. Between 3 and 5 years, it is in its best period, serve it at 12°C, it accompanies a fine starter, melting goat's cheese, langoustine stew, prawns, fine fish and Bresse blue cheese.
