A refined white Burgundy from the talented Rougeot family in Meursault, this Saint-Romain comes from the steep, limestone-rich slopes of the single vineyard La Combe Bazin. The 2022 vintage was hand-harvested and vinified with native yeasts before gentle ageing in oak, showcasing the domaine’s focus on purity, balance and terroir expression.

Aromas of white flowers, ripe pear and citrus are layered with subtle notes of hazelnut and chalky minerality. Based in the heart of Meursault in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, Domaine Rougeot Père et Fils is a family-run estate with a winemaking tradition spanning several generations. Today, Marc Rougeot and his son Pierre-Henri oversee around 13 hectares of vineyards across Meursault, Saint-Romain, Monthélie, Pommard and Volnay, producing wines of remarkable balance and authenticity.

Since Pierre-Henri’s return to the domaine in 2010, Rougeot has embraced organic farming and minimal-intervention winemaking, officially achieving organic certification in 2020. Native yeasts, gentle extraction, and limited use of new oak allow each terroir to express its true character. The result is a collection of pure, energetic and terroir-driven Burgundies that combine traditional craftsmanship with a modern sensibility.
