An exceptional wine. On the light side of full-bodied, the emphasis is on subtle perfume, delicate richness and real depth of flavour.  

Bright straw in colour, it exhibits a cooling freshness with a citrus flavour on the nose and palate. Complex and fresh with layers of aromatic herbs and mint and pleasant scented hints of yellow flowers. Clean attack on the palate with a full texture yet refreshing, balanced and well-structured.

While this winery is not certified organic, they never use herbicides or systemic fungicides.

Albariño

Albariño is a characterful white grape variety native to Galicia in northwestern Spain, particularly the Rías Baixas region, where it thrives in the cool, Atlantic-influenced climate. Known for its bright acidity, aromatic lift, and saline freshness, Albariño typically offers lively flavours of citrus, green apple, peach, and apricot, with floral and sometimes lightly tropical notes. A hallmark of the variety is its distinctive mineral edge and subtle sea spray character—reflecting its coastal terroir. While usually made in a dry, unoaked style to preserve its vibrancy, some producers experiment with lees aging or oak for added texture and complexity. Equally expressive in Portugal’s Vinho Verde region (as Alvarinho), this grape is a natural partner for seafood, especially shellfish, and is beloved for its crisp, refreshing style and growing international appeal.

Galicia - in Spain’s lush and windswept northwest, is a unique and increasingly celebrated wine region defined by its cool, Atlantic-influenced climate and dramatic landscapes of green hills, granite soils, and misty coastal valleys. Best known for the Rías Baixas DO, Galicia is the spiritual home of Albariño—a crisp, aromatic white grape that thrives in the region’s salty air and granite-rich soils, producing wines with vibrant acidity, citrus fruit, and a distinctive mineral edge. Other appellations like Ribeiro, Ribeira Sacra, Valdeorras, and Monterrei showcase a broader palette of indigenous grapes such as Godello, Treixadura, Mencía, and Brancellao. Galicia’s wines are shaped by artisanal producers, steep vineyard terraces, and a deep connection to tradition, resulting in expressive, terroir-driven wines that pair effortlessly with the region’s world-class seafood cuisine.
