This is a batch of two casks. One aged entirely in ex bourbon barrels. One aged in ex bourbon barrels and finished for 2.5 years in Virgin American Oak. This is the oldest Single Pot Still Release to date from Garden County Distillery. This release has only 575 bottles.
With bourbon and virgin cask aging, there are notes of toasted oak, fresh pine, butterscotch, big aromatic pot still spice, sour cherry, with a beautiful oily body that coats the mouth.
Distilled in September 2016 and bottled by Garden County Distillery March 2024.
