Jérôme Galeyrand works on magnificent plots of old vines. Here he has used all his knowhow to produce authentic wines where he has been able to draw out the best of the terroir and the vintage. Jérôme moved to Burgundy in 1996, to the Gevrey plain. Today, he owns 5 hectares spread over the Côte de Nuits: Marsannay, Fixin and Gevrey.
Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 'En Croisette' is opulent and its oak reinforces the wine's construction on the palate. This is an impressive wine, a wine of character. Enjoy when the mood takes you or lay it down for 10 years.
Lovely, dark and sustained garnet colour. Aromas of blackcurrant and red fruit, lightly toasted. Powerful and velvety on the palate, the wine is blessed with impressive structure, ideal for laying down.
