The Lucchetti family has been producing wine in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi zone in Italy’s Marche region for generations, an area widely regarded as the spiritual home of Verdicchio. Their ‘Birbaccio’ Verdicchio captures the vibrant character that has made this grape one of Italy’s most distinctive white varieties. Pale straw in colour with green reflections, the wine offers fragrant aromas of citrus peel, green apple and white peach, alongside subtle floral notes and a hint of almond typical of the variety.
