2020 was Bastien Gautheron's first vintage. The style of the wines is what you would call modern Burgundy, with a focus on fruit and a really good energy. All Bastien's wines appear with pure fruit and minimal influence from the barrels. There is plenty of drinking pleasure in the wines.
Beautiful red colour with red cherries. The fruit is balanced and fine. The wine shows a bit of dryness, which disappears with air. The acidity is present and gives a good balance to the fruit.
