Le Paradou Viognier

Le Paradou is a project created by Alexandre and Frédéric Chaudière whose family produce some of the most respected wines in the Ventoux at Château Pesquié.

It is reasonable to think “Paradou” means “Paradise” in the old language of the “langue d’oc”, as it is magical to live in the south of France. Yet, “Paradou” actually refers to the old watermills that once dotted the landscape. It is in homage to these majestic giants, built on the banks of streams since Roman times, that this fresh and pleasing wine has been created.

Golden colour with silvery glints, clear and bright. An exotic nose of white flowers, white peach and nectarine. In the mouth, it is very fresh and balanced, with citrus aromas (lemon and grapefruit), white fruit and a great minerality

Le Paradou Viognier is one of those rare wines that can be paired with asparagus. Very elegant with grilled fishes, fried squid, scallops, it emphasises dishes with cheese such as Parmiggiano Risotto and goes well with goat cheeses.
