Quinta de Couselo 'O Rosal'

A perfect blend of the best native Rías Baixas varieties. Pale yellow with a green hue. Intense aromas of peach and citrus fruits with floral notes of orange blossom and laurel. On the palate, it is refreshing, unctuous and minerality with a pleasing hint of salinity. Balanced and expressive with a lovely finish.

While this winery is not certified organic, they never use herbicides or systemic fungicides.

"This classic Rosal white blend is dominated by Albariño and has only small percentages (some 5%) of Caíño Blanco and Loureiro, which usually add freshness/elegance and balsamic notes, respectively. So, the profile of the 2019 Quinta de Couselo is as clean and focused as the pure Albariño, with perhaps a faint balsamic twist. These are very harmonious and expressive 2019s, which fulfill the positive comments I had heard about the vintage in Rías Baixas. This matured with lees for six months before bottling." 91 points (2019 vintage), Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
