A wonderfully approachable introduction to orange wine, Santa Julia ‘El Zorrito’ is made from 100% organic Chardonnay grown in Mendoza, Argentina. Rather than separating the juice from the skins as with conventional white wine, the grapes ferment in contact with their skins, giving the wine its distinctive golden orange colour, gentle texture and extra aromatic complexity. Expect tropical white fruit, ripe apple and citrus alongside orange peel, floral notes and a subtle savoury character. Fresh acidity keeps everything lively, while a delicate grip gives the palate real interest. Made with indigenous yeasts, no added sulphites and bottled unfiltered, this is natural wine with plenty of personality but without sacrificing drinkability.
